«Maritime Studies – Port and Shipping»

Management of maritime organizations and bodies is not possible without management knowledge and access to information necessary for decision making. It is, therefore, a duty of universities to, first, train managers for such organizations and, second, train researchers and scholars capable of recognizing domestic and international challenges ahead of marine (both port and shipping) entities and find appropriate solutions.
Postgraduate students of Master of Maritime Studies are well acquainted with the specific maritime issues of the country and conduct their research on real and tangible cases to find a solution to the existing maritime deficiencies of the country, based on emerging management thoughts and methods.
Therefore, the most important necessity of holding the Master of Maritime studies is to achieve a nationwide self-sufficiency in various fields of marine management and scientific growth and prosperity in this field.
